What to do, if I got the "Google maps cannot be loaded on this page" error?

If you get the messages like "Google maps cannot be loaded on this page", "Request was denied by Google Maps API '', or other Google Map API related errors, please check the frontend DevTools console. For this, press F12 (or Fn+F12 for laptops) and click Console:

There you may see the message: "This API project is not authorized to use this API. Please ensure this API is activated in the Google Developers Console". 

In this case, you should pay attention to the fact that Magento 2 Store Locator with Google Maps uses the library, which works not only with Maps JavaScript API but also with Places API.
