- EU’s new Omnibus Directive came into force on 7 January 2020. It significantly impacts Magento stores operating in the EU and the overall e-commerce sector because requires online retailers to follow new price display regulations that are listed in Article 6a.
- 28 May 2022 was the deadline for EU member states to bring it into action in their national legislation.
- Non-compliance with the directive obligations may result in large fines (up to 4% of the annual turnover) for businesses.

The EU Omnibus Directive aims to protect EU citizens from misleading price changes and fake discounts therefore it requires businesses to provide their customers with clear and precise price information.

Configure the Omnibus Prices’ display: Part I
Flexibly adjust the way how the minimum prices will be shown in your store:
- Set up a custom period in days for the minimum price calculation - according to the directive this period must be not shorter than 30 days before price reduction;
- Define the store pages where you’d like to indicate the Omnibus prices - you can display them only on product pages or on both product and category pages;
- Choose whether you want to apply Omnibus prices to all products or to discounted products only as the Omnibus Pricing Directive in EU region requires;
- Hide Omnibus Prices from selected customers group(s) if needed.

Configure the Omnibus Prices’ display: Part II
Define and structure the content displayed in the Omnibus Price block on the frontend to ensure it remains visually clear, informative, and user-friendly for customers:
- Use variables such as {days}, {omnibus_price}, {percentage} along with basic HTML tags to adapt the block template to your needs;
- Provide the percentage variation between the current and minimum prices based on your selected condition: ‘Only Positive’, ‘Only Negative’, or ‘All Except Zero’ to effectively emphasize the real benefits or planned changes.
Control the price history in one place
Conveniently monitor all price changes. After enabling the extension collects all price changes on the grid where they can be viewed and managed by admin.
Filter price changes by date, SKU, website, ID, latest and new price, and customer group to find the recordings you need easily and rapidly.
Delete any number of unnecessary recordings by choosing them on the grid and using the “delete” mass action.
Maintain your database overload-free
The extension offers several methods for price log cleaning to keep the database properly functioning and avoid overloads:
- Сhoose several price change recordings and delete them using mass action;
- Click the the 'Restore' button to clear the 'Price Change History' log while capturing the latest product price updates;
- Enable the automatic price log cleaning option and set a particular number of days after which old log records will be programmatically removed.
