Brilliant that Amasty made this extension and did not charge for it. Works straight out of the box. Note: the User Guide explanation and example for Selectors for Forms don't match the default installation values but the default installation values seem to work just fine.

First I tried to add val scripts manually. After another failed attempt I created save controllers to save form values and was digging deeper. When practically set up I found that any bot that's not using js will bypass my validation and just won't be blocked. Wasted my time I ran into this plugin. It works well from the very start I’ve added the needed code and that’s it. Plus I liked the 3 security forms and the single grid for all settings.

Thanks for releasing this for free guys. I have installed it on 2 stores which were getting about 5 fake account registrations per day. Before the problem was found there were over 1000 fake accounts. Since installing this there have only been real people.

My site had bots adding fake accounts with .ru in the email address about one per minute. 4200 this month! Thanks Amasty! Don't forget to go to System -> Configuration -> Amasty -> Google Invisible Captcha to enable the extension. Then they provide the link to Google to get the "keys". Choose the middle option "Invisible Captcha". I wrote a query to check for fake accounts -- also tests to ensure they haven't ordered before: SELECT ce.entity_id,email, ce.updated_at, caev.value, ce.store_id, group_id AS gid FROM customer_entity ce LEFT JOIN customer_address_entity_varchar caev ON caev.entity_id = ce.entity_id WHERE caev.value IS NULL AND ce.email LIKE '%.ru' AND ce.entity_id NOT IN (SELECT sfo.customer_id FROM sales_flat_order sfo WHERE sfo.customer_id = ce.entity_id) GROUP BY ce.email ORDER BY ce.entity_id DESC Then I delete those entity_ids from all the customer tables.

Great extension

I installed this extension to stop spammy customer registrations that were flooding our site. Once installed and configured this extension worked just as expected and resolved the issue we were experiencing. The one feature I would love to see added is the ability to use this extension to protect the admin and connect login screens.
