Besides the main status, within the rule, you can also configure additional statuses based on quantity ranges of products. For example, ‘Low Stock’ for 1-10 items or ‘Sale’ for 50-100 items, etc. If needed, it's also possible to set statuses manually on a product settings page.

Make out-of-stock options selectable and crossed-out

It used to be difficult for customers to understand which option was out of stock as such options looked the same as in-stock ones. Now, you can cross out out-of-stock options but make them selectable so as not to confuse potential buyers.

Display quantity considering a stock threshold

Use a variable qty_threshold to highlight the precise quantity of the product. The number is calculated by: the product quantity minus stock threshold (the quantity which triggers the out-of-stock status).

Set different status icons and tooltips per store view

With the extension multistore support for icons and tooltips, you can easily upload various images and texts to the same product status to match the peculiarities of different stores or languages.

Add countdown timers to custom product statuses

Due to the module integration with the Amasty Countdown Timer extension, you can associate a specific countdown timer with a custom stock status rule and therefore display it on particular product and cart pages.

How to get product quantity in magento 2 stock status?

When you create a new status via Amasty Custom Stock Status, you can use different variables {tomorrow}, {day-after-tomorrow}, {yesterday}, {special_price}. To display product quantity, add the {qty} or {qty_threshold} variable to the status.

Easy to use even for a not-developer user

We aimed to sell products that are not in stock - and with this mod, it became possible. We just add custom stock statuses and shoppers can see when the good is coming and preorder. This mod has a top code quality and support. I recommend it to any vendor who wants to sell products from the supplier stock.

I have bought several Magento extensions for both Magento 1 and Magento 2. My favorite is the Custom Stock Status which allows me to play with stock levels, backorders and expected delivery dates. Very helpful to give good information to customers. I saw an increase of sales for products that were out of stock. Since we can give good information for expected delivery dates we sell more products that stay in backorder. The support at Amasty is excellent. Always quick to respond (email and chat) and help out if you have any problems with your extension. Also the aftersales support is great. Since I made a mistake in buying an extension, they were so kind to make a refund for it after several months (due to circumstances I was not able to get back to that quicker). All in all one happy customer at Amasty!

It’s a big brainer. Settings seem simple but only until you start off to configure. My head was boiling I asked their team for help an’ they managed everything in a day. It’s very efficient the option to add links in custom stock status to any site page is really cool and helpful. I recently checked purchase history even when customer chose out of stop good he followed link to choose something alike an’ ended up making purchase.
