Say, you have organized your Magento 2 store as a marketplace or dropshipping. So your customers can place orders that contain products from different sellers. To make the order management process easier and organize sellers’ work better, you can split this order into several ones and assign them to different sellers. Thus, sellers can generate invoices, manage shipments, returns, and refund independently.
With the future extension, you will be able to edit pending orders and manage what products and fees you want to move to a separate order. After this, you can generate an exclusive order ID and assign this order to a specific seller or dropshipper.
Enable quick order of multiple products and boost your B2B sales →
After splitting Magento 2 orders, payments made for shipping, taxes, and other fees will be applied on a per-item basis.
Let your customers pay partially for your products with the Partial Payment extension →
Magento 2 Split Order extension can separate orders programmatically using rule-based algorithms. You will be able to create rules and split orders automatically if they include specific products or using any other attributes.
With this extension, you can keep your customers updated by sending automatic email notifications about their orders and status changes. Also, sellers will be able to generate separate invoices and shipments from the backend and send them to customers via email.
This extension will automatically generate an order ID according to your settings. You can use prefixes and postfixes for split orders IDs or any other identification algorithms that will help you organize the order management process.
If the customer has placed an order that was split into multiple ones, they will see detailed information about each order on the front end in their customer account. They can manage them separately by requesting returns, refunds, or canceling wrong orders.
